About OKRHOA

The OKR Homeowners Association was established in 1989 and is responsible for administering the Protective Covenants, Bylaws and Policies and Procedures of our community.  The Association oversees road maintenance, grazing leases and upkeep of the common area.  A great way to stay in touch is through this website!

OKR Homeowners Association
  • Communication: The Board of Directors communicates with residents primarily via email. Be sure to provide the Board with your email address to keep up with Association news, reminders, etc.  We also maintain a website, with resident restricted pages.  Contact the web administrator for logon credentials.
  • Governing Documents:  We encourage you to read all of the Association’s Governing Documents (below) to gain an understanding of your rights and responsibilities as a member of the Association.
  • Annual Meeting:  The Board of Directors conducts an Annual Meeting of the members in September of each year. The meeting is held offsite in a local community eatery where lunch is served after.  It is a good chance to catch up with neighbors.
    • All members are encouraged to attend. Meeting agendas and any specifics are posted on the website http://okrhoa.com/ in advance of each annual meeting.
  • Members:  The Board maintains a confidential list of all residents and owners, as well as up-to-date contact information. This list is not sold or shared with the public, but it is important for current event notifications. Please be sure to inform the Board of your name, home and cell phone numbers, and an email address to receive Association communications.  Contact our Treasurer Pam English at [email protected].
  • Board of Directors:  The Association is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of members of the Association. A list of current Board members and their contact information is here on our website. If you have any questions or concerns about OKRHOA, please contact Gary Shipley, Board President at  [email protected].
  • Association Dues:  Dues are assessed and paid annually, and cover the costs of maintaining the roads, fences, gates, and signage of the community. An invoice for the dues is emailed to each member with sufficient notice to pay the dues in a timely manner.  Questions?  Contact our Treasurer Pam English at [email protected].

Common Area

Picture
OKR has a common area that is open to all property owners.  No hunting or target shooting is allowed.  Regulations for fishing in the common area pond can be found in the Links below.  Fish limits are 2 fish per person per day and OKR  encourages owners to practice catch and release fishing.  Anybody over the age of 16 is required to have a valid Colorado fishing license to fish out of the pond.  The license is required because the pond is not licensed as a Private Lake but is fed by water from Four Mile Creek, which is managed by the State.

A note to OKR Owners regarding guests using the Common Area:
Please print & issue a visitors pass (see link below)  to any guest(s) that may want to use the common area.  The pass ensures that the Common Area is only used by those who are paying for it's upkeep and maintenance and is required in order to prevent an innocent person from being charged with trespass.
