Homeowners Association Details
The Old Kathleen Ranch Home Owner Association is composed of property owners (members) of record in Park County, Colorado. It is a non-profit corporation filed with the Secretary of State. Annually, on the first Sunday of September, members vote for up to nine representatives to be on the Board of Directors for the coming year. The Board then votes for a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer who remain in office for that year. The Board ensures that all covenants, conditions, restrictions and bylaws of OKR are met and maintained.
The HOA Board forms committees that pursue the association’s plans and goals regarding maintenance and other pertinent decisions for the ranch area. Some of those committees include road maintenance, upkeep of the common area, dealing with pine beetle infestation, mistletoe, and noxious weeds. The HOA has also designated the Old Kathleen Ranch Grazing Association (see separate section) to manage grazing, Ag, and related matters on the ranch. |
